alone... Nothing gives such a sense of mastery over time, over mechanism,
mastery indeed over space, time and life itself, as this. |

Holding
the Private Pilot Certificate allows you to see the world from
a whole new point of view. To acquire the Private Pilot's Certificate,
the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires a minimum of
40 hours. Of these 40 hours, 20 must be with an instructor (dual),
10 must be conducted solo. You can expect to earn your license
in between 50 and 70 hours of flight time depending on location,
weather, proficiency and quality of instruction. To obtain your
license, you need the required flight time and you must be able
to pass a medical, written, and practical exam. Once this is completed,
you are a member of the pilot community which can be a very fun,
enjoyable, and exciting experience.
